Vivo, Nepal’s most loved smartphone brand has shared its upcoming plans for 2023. The company says it will continue and expand with more innovation and product launches this year.

The global renown brand says it will launch more innovative products and initiatives in 2023 to bolster its presence in the region.

Vivo says 2022 had been a phenomenal year and now ranks as the country’s top-selling smartphone brand in the region. The brand embraces a design-driven value, with smart devices and intelligent services at its core. Due to this, it never fails to amaze and delight with its constant innovation and strife toward excellence.

The company is marked for bringing outstanding camera capabilities and delivering breakthroughs in fast-charge technology, or cutting-edge innovations in design in its smartphones.

Vivo plans in 2023: new products from V and Y series

Sources say that Vivo will soon introduce its latest lineups from the popular V and Y series. This includes the much-awaited V27 in 2023. Ever since entering Nepal, Vivo has been meeting customers’ needs and delivering satisfaction. The brand has over 1500 retail stores and 4 customer service centers across Nepal. But the number of these is increasing due to consumer love and appreciation from Nepal.

Globally too, the brand continued with its commitment to connecting people through technology. Vivo was an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

Looking back to 2022

vivo saw an aggressive expansion of its product line with the launch of premium phones particularly the V23 and V25 series. Likewise, the affordable and feature-rich Y series also saw expansion with the launch of Y33s, Y01, Y55, Y15C, Y35, Y22, Y16, and Y22s. Besides, Vivo Y20 and V21e smartphones prices were also lowered to Rs 20,999 and Rs 37,999 respectively.

Vivo witnessed significant strides in innovation in 2022. The V23 5G came with the Colour Changing Glass as well as a 50MP front camera, and the V25 Series packed a 4500mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge. The color-changing glass, a refreshing departure from the monotony of single colors, allows the rear panel of the smartphone to gradually transform its color when exposed to the ultraviolet light of the sun.

The company implemented it realizing that smartphones are integral fashion statements today. “Encouraged by the massively positive reception for its products and innovation, the brand will continue its momentum in this regard with a purpose to democratize and elevate technology pivoting around customers’ needs”, said Vivo Nepal.

Vivo events in Nepal are another highlight of the brand

In line with Benfen, Vivo’s guiding philosophy of doing the right things and the right way, the brand realizes the importance of nurturing the ecosystem where it operates. Therefore, it has undertaken multiple crucial initiatives in the past year. It includes organizing a blood donation camp at Basantapur Durbar Square in December 2022. Its ‘More Local, More Global’ approach makes Vivo a brand that respects and incentivizes local talent as was evident in the ‘vivotine photography contest’. The contest awarded photographers with prizes and discounts on existing V, S, and Y series smartphones.

In addition, ‘Vivo Service Day’ is another of its testament to its customer-centric approach. The event takes place at the end of every month, whereby customers can take advantage of free after-sales services. Customers can benefit from cleaning, disinfecting, system recovery, software upgrades, etc.

Besides, on its 5th year anniversary in Nepal in December 2022, the company brought back its month-long ‘Sales Carnival’ offering its users exciting gifts, on entering a lucky draw. The brand also considers the improvement of 5G capabilities in Nepal as a stated purpose. So, it will continue to augment its services and initiatives in the country more passionately in 2023, “to improve its involvement in and contribution to the kind and admirable Nepali community.”
