Huawei Launches Six Partner Alliances at Asia Pacific Partners Conference 2023

Huawei Asia Pacific Partners Conference 2023

Huawei commenced the Asia Pacific Partners Conference 2023 in Shenzhen, China. It brought together more than 1,200 partners from over 10 countries and regions. The primary objective of this conference was to explore avenues for growth and strengthen the partner ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region, renowned for its leadership in digitalization and innovation. Huawei Asia Pacific Partners Conference 2023

Huawei, which has a significant presence in the Asia-Pacific region, has a network of more than 7,900 business partners and 2,000 cloud partners. The brand is committed to increasing its investment in partnerships and providing more incentives to its partners in order to further improve collaboration and value creation. This strategic choice aligns with the company’s mission to advance the region’s digital economy, boost digital productivity, and provide consumers with greater value.

Six Partner Collaborations

As part of its endeavors to deepen partnerships, Huawei introduced six new partner collaborations exclusively for the Asia-Pacific region. These partnerships concentrate on important sectors like government, finance, electric power, transportation (road, water, and port), independent software vendors (ISVs), and data center facility solutions. Over 70 partners from the Asia-Pacific region actively participated in the inaugural ceremony, demonstrating their dedication to innovation and teamwork in advancing industrial digital transformation.

During the event, David Wang, Chairman of the ICT Infrastructure Managing Board and Executive Director of the Board at Huawei, gave the opening speech in the event. In addition to outlining unique tactics for partner development in the named account (NA) market, commercial market, and distribution industry, Wang stressed the disruptive influence of digital and intelligent technology. Huawei wants to meet the unique needs of these areas and create strong partnerships to hasten digitalization.

President of Huawei APAC Enterprise Business Group, Nicholas Ma, shared the company’s vision for the Asia-Pacific region. Huawei expects partners to play a substantial role, contributing 95% of the company’s revenue. According to projections, partners would profit annually from Huawei’s products and services to the tune of $800 million. Huawei is still committed to assisting its partners in providing customers with worthwhile services and achieving long-term company growth.

Bob Chen, Vice President of Huawei’s Enterprise BG and President of Enterprise Marketing & Solution Sales, presented a comprehensive roadmap for addressing the unique needs of the named account (NA), commercial, and distribution markets. He said, “There is an old Chinese saying, if a worker wants to do a good job, he must first sharpen his tools.” He also outlined Huawei’s strategy for the NA market, where they plan to work with partners to deepen, strengthen, and expand industry solutions. In the commercial market, they will, “stay partner-centric and build more marketable products, solutions, and IT platforms.” As for their distribution business, Huawei will create products under the new sub-brand Huawei eKit and optimize IT platforms. He added, “Together with our partners, We will accelerate the digital transformation of government and enterprise customers in Asia-Pacific.”

President of Marketing for Huawei Cloud, William Dong, discussed the company’s lofty objectives to connect more than 10 million developers, grow its partner network to over 1 million, and provide services to over 10 million enterprise clients. Dong highlighted Huawei Cloud’s emphasis on the “Everything as a Service” strategy, seeking to use their technology, tools, and knowledge developed over the past 30 years to create cloud services that assist industrial digitalization. In order to provide exceptional cloud solutions and experiences, Huawei Cloud is dedicated to ongoing innovation and collaboration with partners.

Charles Yang, President of Global Marketing, Sales, and Services for Huawei Digital Power, discussed the importance of seizing low-carbon opportunities to create a greener and more sustainable future. With predicted market values in the trillions of dollars, Yang underlined the huge growth potential over the next three decades, driven by decarbonization, digitization, and intelligent transformation. Similarly, Huawei aspires to create a strong & sustainable digital power technology company, with the help of its cutting-edge digital and power electronics technology ecosystem. They want to become the go-to option in a time of great potential by assisting clients and partners in achieving mutual success.

Collaboration and Discussion Panels

During the conference, Huawei also held a panel named,” Collaborating for a New Era of Innovation and Growth.” The panelists included Andreas Suryadi Gunadi, CEO of Soltius Indonesia, Philip Hong, CTO of Sunline Technology, Dominic Shih, Chief Technology Officer of Automated System (H.K.) Limited, Suwatchai Sirimuangmul, Assistant COO of Precise System & Project Co., Ltd., and Xiao Haijun, President of Enterprise Global Partner Development and Sales at Huawei. Likewise, the panel’s moderator was Daniel Shen, General Manager of Informa Tech/Omdia.

The conference encompassed interactive panels and discussions centered around various themes, including cloud services, digital power technology, and fostering collaboration for innovation and growth. They talked about teamwork improvement to maximize individual talent. The panel also discussed how to develop workable answers to challenges that arise in actual business situations. In order to react rapidly to shifting market demands, they also considered what support was required in the product technology and policy domains.

Product Launches 

At the Technical Innovation Summit, Huawei unveiled its latest flagship intelligent cloud-network products, specifically tailored for the Asia-Pacific market, namely CloudEngine 16800-X and CloudEngine S16700. Additionally, the company introduced a range of storage products, solutions, digitalization tools, and partner support programs designed to meet the needs of the commercial sector in the region.
