Design
The TWS from Purple boasts a premium look with an Airpods design. The design is pretty identical to Airpods with lookalike stems, body, and ear tips. As a budget TWS, the build material is plastic while there are rubber ear tips for an in-ear feel. Talking of the charging case, there is a white indicator and a USB C port for charging. The company has not mentioned any IP rating for the buds.
Audio Performance and Connectivity
For the audio performance, Purple has infused 13mm dynamic drivers on the Purple Buds Pro. There is support for both SBC and AAC audio codecs. Likewise, there are touch controls on the buds for music and call controls. The TWS relies on Bluetooth 5.3 technology for connectivity. There is a JL6973D4 Bluetooth chip inside the earbuds. As for the range, it can connect up to a distance of 10 meters with no obstructions in between.

Battery Life
The battery can last up to 8 hours as per the company, which is a bold claim. The usual battery life is stated to last from 5-8 hours. To be precise, the charging case has a 250mAh battery whereas each of the buds carries a 30mAh cell. Likewise, the official spec sheet mentions a one-hour charging time for the buds. Meanwhile, the charging dock will take 1.5 hours via a USB Type-C port with a 5V/1A current.
