On the same occasion, the company organized an orientation with the employees at its office in Rajbiraj, Hanumannagar Branch. At the event, Ananta Prakash Mallick, the director of the Ntc provincial directorate of Madhesh Province, said that the company will extend its services to every house in the district.
He shared that Ntc has successfully migrated its copper-based (PSTN/ADSL) services to FTTH in Rajbiraj. Likewise, he opined that the district has a high number of data users given that many have gone abroad for employment. And this has inspired the company to consistently improve its services against private service providers.
Mr. Mallick also shared that the company doesn’t enjoy a monopoly market as in the past. So, the company will now expand its services to every household.
Copper to fiber migration in Rajbiraj, an exemplary achievement
Director Mr. Mallick also hailed copper-to-fiber migration in Rajbiraj as an exemplary achievement. The company will now put its effort to provide its highly reliable fiber services to all parts of the province.
Provincial directorate’s manager Dr. Shaligram Parajuli said self-discipline helps both the employees and the company. “Only with the affordable and quality services will draw respect from the customers,” he said.
Similarly, the office chief at Ntc office Rajbiraj, Mohammad Hasan Ansari said that the company’s service expansion and distribution is finally reaching its completion which began in 2077, Chaitra.
The telco traditionally provided internet service through its popular yet, slow in today’s terms, ADSL service. However, to meet internet demands of customers today and compete with private companies, Ntc has been migrating the dated system to fiber service nationwide. Fiber to the Home (FTTH) is a more reliable and consistent performer than its old-age sibling.
At the same time, Ntc also provides innovative Triple Play service which brings TV, Voice, and Fiber internet through a single fiber cable. It has helped the company stay a favorite to its customers despite the blazing internet speed war in Nepal.
