Redmi 7A may launch soon in Nepal

With the announcement of Redmi K20 pro launch date, Xiaomi might be releasing an affordable Redmi phone soon in Nepal. According to a reliable source, the device none other than Redmi 7A may land here in Nepal any time soon. The entry-level phone although having traditional design is powered by a Snapdragon Octa-core processor, 4000 mAH battery and AI camera.

The phone was available in China back in June 2019 while it landed in India on July 2019. Now, the device may come soon within August second week.

Redmi 7A Nepal

Redmi 7A has a 5.45 inches HD+ LCD display with tall 18:9 aspect ratio, with a traditional design regarding the bezel and chin with Redmi branding. Similarly the phone is powered by a Snapdragon OctaCore 439 processor, and coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. There are three versions of the phone which goes by RAM and Storage combinaton, which are:

  • 2GB RAM + 16 GB Storage
  • 3GB RAM + 16 GB storage
  • 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage

Regarding the camera, Redmi 7A has a vertically aligned single camera of 12 MP in the rear. The rear camera supports PDAF (phase detection Auto focus), HDR, LED flash and can take full HD videos. The phone has a selfie camera of 5 MP having HDR feature and full HD video too. The front camera is also used for the face unlock security which is based on AI. AI is also used for the software-based background blur with a single camera.

The phone supports 4G, VoLTE, FM and bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The whopping battery of 4000 mAH should make the phone suitable for heavy usage, which also comes with a 10W charger. The phone has a p2i nano coating for the splash resistance.

Regarding the Operating system, the phone runs on MIUI 10 over Android 9 Pie.

Redmi 7A price in Nepal

Redmi 7A may come in two of those available colors. The price of Redmi 7A (2GB+ 16 GB) in China is 549 RMB and that of 2GB+32 GB is 599 RMB. The phone landed in India with a price of Indian rupees 5799. Considering the price difference and taxation, transport, Redmi 7A price (2GB+16GB) will be around Rs 1200 in Nepal.

If you are looking for any entry-level smartphone for yourself or to give it as a gift to your parents who use a smartphone, then you may go for this price range. As per the use by people for the basic requirement, you may opt for the phone in this price segment.
