Dish Home Brings Shorts TV In Nepal for Short Movies

DTH/Internet service provider Dish Home has added ShortsTV into its TV services. With this, Nepal has become only the second market in South Asia to introduce the popular short movies-based TV channel, after India.

The popular TV channel will be also available through the DishHome Go app on channel number 928.

The addition of ShortsTV will cash in on Nepali viewers” growing fond of short series and entertainment. Besides, popular foreign flicks, Shorts will also cater Nepali short movies to the audiences.

To their delight, the company says the features of ShortsTV will come for free to its customers.

That means Dish Home users can watch thousands of short movies on Shorts TV without an extra cost.

Regarding this, the DTH MD Sudip Acharya said, “ShortsTV won’t cost extra charges. Dish Home customers will have access to the new HD channel on their existing subscription via the DishHome Go app.”

Dish Home’s ShortsTV will create a new dimension to TV viewing for its customers. For the lovers of short movies, it will be one ideal fit for their daily dose of entertainment.

About Dish Home’s Newly-Added ShortsTV

Shorts TV is the world’s first and only dedicated HD TV channel that brings thousands of short movies from around the world. Since its launch in 2010, it now boasts a worldwide audience with 100 million subscribers spanned across India, Latin America, the US, Europe, and other regions.

Shorts TV brings a large category of short movies from popular genres like action, thriller, comedy, and many more.

“Shorts is available in 90 countries worldwide with thousands of short movies. Out of which, many are Oscar-nominated. The collaboration with Dish Home will bring Shorts’ entertainment to Nepali audiences”, Shorts CEO Carter Pilcher said.

He later added that Shorts will include Nepali short movies too which will help them attain international recognition.

Dish Home has been adding one after the other features into its broadband and TV services. The combination of both has allowed it to keep momentum as it reels from the ongoing internet speed war in the country.
