Ncell bags ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications: What it means?
Ncell’s receiving ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications is a significant benchmark that highlights its focus on providing quality services while being environmentally sensitive.
ISO 9001 is the global benchmark for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is conferred on organizations that ensure processes that reliably meet customer and regulatory requirements. Similarly, ISO 14001 sets the standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). It guides companies to effectively manage their environmental responsibilities, reduce waste, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
“These ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, following the prestigious ISO 27001:2022 (ISMS) and ISO 27701:2019 (PIMS) certifications in data security and privacy, are a testament to our commitment to the quality of services we provide,” said Michael Foley, CEO of Ncell.
“Be it for B2C, B2B, or B2G services, these certifications ensure that our business is robustly governed and meets globally recognized standards.”
It’s not the first time for the private telco, though. In January 2025, too, Ncell bagged ISO 27001:2022 (ISMS) and ISO 27701:2019 (PIMS) certifications. It was the first time a telecom company from Nepal received these certifications. These recognitions have been renewed this year too (2026).
