Nepal Telecom TV Service (NT TV) Cost, Offer and Process to Subscribe

Nepal Telecom launched its digital TV service NTTV service on Jan 1, 2021, starting from Kathmandu, Banepa, and then gradually expanding to several other regions. It’s also got A La Carte packages now. The NTTV service is available on NT fiber service completing the triple-play plan (Voice, data, and IPTV). Firstly, Nepal Telecom’s TV service was made available in select areas of Kathmandu, due to the network availability of Fiber and also due to some technical capacity issues. As they upgraded their network to support the TV service, it is now available in almost all locations where Nepal Telecom’s fiber net is available.

How to get the Nepal Telecom NTTV service on your FTTH?

To get the NTTV service (IPTV) on your FTTH line, follow the steps.

• You need to contact Nepal Telecom by dialing 198 and pressing 1, or visiting the Nepal Telecom office.
• You need to buy an additional device called STB (Set-top box) with which you can access the TV service and subscribe to either combo packages for basic or premium TV bundles. But do remember you need a set-top-box for each TV set at home. The maximum no of TVs that can be connected with a single connection is 3.
• Then you can watch regular TV channels and more services in the future by connecting the STB to your TV (either Smart or Traditional TVs).

Price/Cost of NT TV packs on Ntc FTTH Fiber

The price of NT TV service depends on the TV subscription type and internet speed. Similarly, you may want to purchase NTTV service with a bundle of High-speed internet and telephone, Or you can subscribe only to NTTV and a telephone line.

If you are a new user (without a fiber connection), then you need to first pay for one time as:

If you want to connect multiple TVs, then the charge is Rs 508.5 per month. Similarly, the subscription cost for additional TV will be Rs 1448.66 for 6 months and Rs 4881.60 for 12 months. But, you need to pay extra for an additional STB for each TV connection.

The Telephone line that comes with the package has a balance of Rs 100 and you can make 250 calls per month to any Nepal Telecom number.

Premium Internet service with 1 NTTV

You can also subscribe to NTTV together with premium internet over the FTTH fiber line. The NTTV package comes in three packages; 50 Mbps, 80 Mbps, and 100 Mbps which costs Rs 5178, Rs 6678, and Rs 8178 per month. Besides, if you subscribe for 3 months and 12 months, it will be a little cheaper.

Nepal Telecom NTTV App

Nepal Telecom has recently launched a mobile app for NTTV, enabling you to watch TV channels even on your smartphone. So, if you are an Ntc user, you can even watch some free TV channels via the mobile app. Therefore, by using an ISP login (with a TV subscription), you get the premium TV channels on your mobile screen for free.

How to activate the NTTV app on your smartphone?

• First, download the app on your smartphone
• After the download completes, launch the app
• You will see two login options – LOGIN and NTC LOGIN
• Tap “LOGIN” and enter your Ntc phone number
• You will receive an OTP on that number
• Either enter it manually or let your smartphone enter it automatically
• Tap on ‘Continue’
• Now, you will have access to air-free channels on the NTTV app

Multiple TV offer

Nepal Telecom has launched a “Multiple TV” offer bringing the digital service at a cost-effective price structure. Aimed at corporate users who subscribe to over 4 TV connections, the company is providing set-top-boxes at a reduced price. For customers who install a minimum of 4 to more TVs, the STB comes at Rs 2,938 per unit with a year warranty. Similarly, buying 10 or more TV connections brings the STB at Rs 2,825 per unit again with a year warranty.

The offer makes NTC’s digital TV service more appealing to its customers thanks to a more aggressive pricing model. All about NTTV a La Carte channels and price

The A La Carte NTTV comes with 9 bouquet TV packs for subscriptions. You can choose packages that conveniently meet your demands for watching TV. There are Star Bouquet, Sony Bouquet, Zee Bouquet, Discovery Bouquet, BBC Bouquet, etc. to choose from under the Monthly and quarterly (for three months) subscriptions. Each bouquet comes with a set of TV channels. So, the prices are different accordingly depending on the number of channels and their demands.

For e.g., the Star Bouquet costs Rs 65 on the monthly package and Rs 195 on the quarterly package. Likewise, the Zee Bouquet comes for Rs 25 monthly and Rs 75 in quarterly purchases. The Discovery and BBC Bouquets respectively cost Rs 20 and Rs 2 and Rs 60 and Rs 6 for monthly and quarterly packages. According to Ntc, the Super Bouquet Pack costs the highest which is Rs 175 in the monthly purchases and Rs 525 in the quarterly purchases.

Ntc has also announced an offer for NTTV subscribers who purchase a premium package for a year. So, the NTTV Premium Package for a year costs Rs 360 a month in the first three months of subscription.

Also, when purchasing the annual package, a 50 Mbps Ntc FTTH fiber internet package comes at Rs 10,999. Likewise, it comes at Rs 12,000 with a set-top-box (STB) which also brings 600 MB of mobile data per day. Similarly, a 100 Mbps package comes at Rs 14,999 with an STB including 800 MB of mobile data per day. The 150 Mbps and 200 Mbps packages come for Rs 16,499 and Rs 19,999 respectively with 900 MB and 1000 MB of mobile data every day.
