Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone in Nepal. The flip phone arrived after the lift of import restrictions in Nepal. It was globally launched back in August 2022. This new addition to the foldable is the successor to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. Packing impressive specs like Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and an AMOLED Display, the phone sets to compete in the premium segment. Design and Display
Commencing off with the design, the phone boasts a foldable (flip) design with a shorter hinge than its predecessor. The premium design language includes a Gorilla Glass Victus+ back panel and aluminum frame for the looks. It has straightened edges, contrasting hazed back glass, and glossy metal frames. It comes with IPX8 water resistance.

This new foldable gets the horsepower from the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The 4nm silicon supports 5G and has the configurations of 1×3.19 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3×2.75 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4×1.80 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. On the graphics front, there is Adreno 730 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of RAM while the available storage options are UFS 3.1 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Talking about the software side, the phone boots on OneUI4.1 built on top of Android 12. Samsung has promised 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security updates for this phone.
Camera
The phone sports a dual camera setup on its back. The primary lens is a 12MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, dual PDAF, and OIS for stabilization. And the second camera is a 12MP Ultrawide with an f/2.2 aperture. It has a 123-degree FOV for capturing wider scenes. Although the setup is the same as its predecessor, the company has claimed improvements on both cameras. For videos, the main camera can shoot up to 4K at 60fps resolution.
There are enhanced AI lighting and stabilization capabilities on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Also, Samsung’s Super Night Solution technology is present for aiding in capturing portrait shots in low light conditions. For selfies, there is a 10MP snapper with an f/2.4 aperture.
