Huawei Assisted The Nepal-China Joint Conference to Unveil Mount Everest’s New Height

Nepal China Virtual Meeting Mount Everest New height announcement

A press conference held by the government of Nepal and China on December 8 has revealed the newly measured height of Mount Everest. They announced the Mount Everest (Sagarmatha) height to have increased by 86 centimeter, making it 8848.86 meters. As known, the China-based Huawei Cloud meeting technology has supported the Joint Press conference. Huawei has also been providing such cloud based services in Nepal.

In the press conference, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, along with Foreign Minister Pradip Kumar Gyawali and Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal jointly disclosed the new official height of Mount Everest to be 8,848.86 meters. With that, we found the World’s highest Mountain, Mount Everest Height to be taller by 86 cm.

Huawei Cloud Meeting Technology

Huawei Plans for Nepal

Like, Nabil Bank and Himalaya Airlines agreed on a strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding with Huawei.

Similarly, Huawei has stationed the world’s highest 5G base station at the altitude of 6500 meters on Mount Everest in collaboration with China Mobile. The Gigabit optical fiber network of Huawei will enable China mobile to run its dual Gigabit network at an altitude of 6,500m.
