Dish home Mega fi plan 600Mbps

DTH provider Dish Home has launched high-end 600 Mbps, and 300 Mbps internet plans under the Mega-Fi package. The company has also announced WiFi 6 to augment its highest ever fiber broadband packages that formally mark its entry into the internet speed war.

This Mega-Fi plan combines high-speed fiber broadband with WiFi 6 and Mesh nodes that ensure an elite internet performance. The packages in this scheme provide enough bandwidth and consistent broadband performance to you for online gaming, streaming, and interactive activities.

These high-speed plans also place the company in the same lineup as major ISPs which have launched similar high-end packages as of late. Besides, the company has also followed the trend of bringing in a new router system with the flagship internet plans. And Dish Home says its WiFi 6 Mesh system will deliver internet speed 4 times faster than “5G” routers.

Entering the Speed War with Mega-Fi plans

Dish Home has long waited for it. Ever since CG Net launched its trendsetter 120 Mbps packages, various ISPs have followed the suit. The internet speed war has even brought to us the 1 Gbps residential internet plan.

However, Dish Home had stood unmoved for months and rather focused on expansion and other offers. The company though had long announced its plan for the WiFi 6 launch and that has finally happened with the Mega-Fi plans. The 600 Mbps and 300 Mbps plans now catapult it in the same profile as other leading ISPs.

What does WiFi 6 bring?

WiFi 6 is the successor to the WiFi 5 wireless standard which brings more speed, less band interference, and uniform speed across multiple devices. And interestingly, Dish Home had long announced the plan to bring WiFi 6 to Nepal with Huawei and it has finally happened.

Most households in Nepal still use either a single-band router or a dual-band “5G router” (WiFi 5). The WiFi 6, aka 802.11ax, comes with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA), and MU-MIMO that allows higher data rates transmission. In terms of theoretical speed, the WiFi 6 standard is capable of 9.7 Gbps speed. Likewise, Dish Home says its WiFi six standard Mesh router system delivers 4 times faster data rate than 5G routers.

Dish Home is a fairly new company in internet service having started in 2020. But it is expanding at a pace and has coverage in almost all the major cities. Currently, it is serving 44 thousand, 2 hundred, and 87 subscribers. Check out: Dish Home Internet Plans, Packages, & Price.
