Xiaomi Nepal has hiked the price of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite in Nepal. This new smartwatch comes with a TFT LCD screen and GPS, the wearable was unveiled in November 2021 in China. Now that is available here, let’s know Redmi Watch 2 Lite price in Nepal and specs.
The smartwatch is another watch launched by Xiaomi Nepal after Mi Watch Lite (known as the Redmi Watch globally).
Design and Display
Redmi Watch 2 Lite inherits the same design language as its predecessor. There is a button on the right side for navigation. Coming with a squarish design, the watch houses a 1.55″ TFT LCD panel. The display is a 2.5D curved one for protection. An AMOLED display would have been more welcoming though.
The resolution of the LCD is 360 x 320 pixels while the PPI density is 311. Whereas the dimension is 41.2 x 35.3 x 10.7 mm and it weighs 35 grams. The display supports a peak brightness of 350 nits, covering 60% of the NTSC color gamut. Specs-wise, this is not much different from the Mi Watch Lite except for a bigger display. Redmi Watch 2 Lite is available to purchase in three colors; Black, Blue, and Ivory.

Redmi Watch 2 Lite Fitness Tracking and Sensors
This smartwatch comes with all the necessary fitness tracking sensors. It has a PPG sensor for real-time heart rate monitoring with increased accuracy. Also, the wearable can measure SpO2 (Blood Oxygen) alongside sleep tracking. Powering the watch is an Apollo 3.5 chipset. Moreover, there are 100 plus sports modes to choose from. To name a few, it can track walking, running, yoga, swimming, cycling, etc. Other sensors are accelerometer, compass, and gyro.
There is a multi-system standalone GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS. So exercises can be tracked along with the location without having to carry the phone. The wearable also supports women’s menstrual cycle tracking. You also get breathing exercise and stress monitoring modes. Also, it can display notifications from the phone but you cannot reply to them. Similarly, you can reject a call but not receive a call directly from the watch itself.

Redmi Watch 2 Lite gets its juice from a 262mAh cell. It can last up to 10 days under typical use, the brand claims. Also, there is a proprietary charging cable with magnetic pins in the box.
The smartwatch is also 5 ATM waterproof plus 50m water-resistant. It runs on proprietary OS by Xiaomi which supports more than 100 watch faces. Whereas for connectivity, it uses Bluetooth 5.2 technology. There is no NFC though. And Xiaomi Wear is the official companion app for this smartwatch.
