Ncell expands 4G in Pokhara and Damauli with yonder music offer, launches from July 1

Ncell announces the launch of 4G in Pokhara and Damauli from July 1 (Ashad 17), Saturday.  With the 4G launch, the fast mobile broadband service is now available in those two cities: Pokhara and Damauli. It was in June 1 that they had launched Ncell 4G in Kathmandu, Banepa, Dhulikhel and Nagarkot.

All Ncell customers in Pokhara and Damauli can now access  to fourth generation (4G) / Long Term Evolution (LTE) service.  Ncell Private Limited plans to make 4G accessible to 15% of population within 2017. Under the vision to contribute to ‘Digital Nepal’, Ncell expanded the service to western cities: Pokhara and Damauli. The company is officially launching the 4G service in these cities on Saturday (July 1).

“Ncell is committed to deliver on our promise to swiftly expand 4G service, so that the people could reap the benefits and country remains abreast in adoption of new technology. We are happy to officially launch the service to Pokhara and Damauli, as we announced earlier,” said Milan Sharma, corporate communications expert at Ncell.

What’s with the Ncell 4G offer in Pokhara and Damauli?

With the 4G launch, Ncell subscribers of Pokhara and Damauli, having 4G SIM (U-SIM) and 4G compatible handset, are able to experience high speed mobile broadband connectivity. On the occasion of the official launch of the 4G, the company is providing free music streaming/downloads service. Which is through Yonder Music app for 30 days to customers who use data service through Ncell’s 4G SIM.

How to activate free yonder music streaming in Ncell?

To activate free yonder music streaming in Ncell for 30 days, customer need to

  • dial *324#

To check their SIM type (if compatible with 4G), Customer need to

  • send a SMS to 324 typing Q.

Ncell plans to expand 4G in cities and 3G in rural areas through technology neutrality license.

After Kathmandu launch, the company has been planning and testing 4G service in other cities nationwide, embracing a target to take 4G service in 15 cities by the end of this year. With the recent 4G launch, Ncell now covers 10.3% population of the country with high speed 4G mobile broadband. The service expansion enables Ncell customers to reap benefit from new opportunities that it creates. It empowers ICT industry, technopreneurs, media and other industries, contributing to put the economy on higher growth trajectory, besides enhancing better customer experience.

In-line with introduction of the 4G/LTE service, Ncell has recently brought attractive weekly combo pack ‘One Plan’. It empowers customers to enjoy data, voice along with free unlimited  Yonder Music streaming under a single plan. The company is known to unveil more and exciting offers to the customers for fast 4G connectivity and access free unlimited videos.
